Drafts to Jake — May / June queue.

Four messages ready to send across May; two more held against the June Europe conversation with Andrea. Private review page — not for Jake's eyes.

Ashley Bloom · Silent Unicorn · 13 May 2026

00 — Premise

Where the queue sits.

Pacing for May is measured. Four drafts go out in order — light enough that Jake can read them as separate threads, sequenced so the warmest one lands first. After that, quiet on the Silent Unicorn side until June, when the APAC GTM exclusivity conversation with Andrea (in Europe, mid-late June, latest July) determines the shape of the two held drafts.

READY  drafted, awaiting send  ·  HELD  drafted, gated on something resolving first

01 — Ready

The four going out in May.

Sequence them in this order; Ashley's discretion on exact timing, but they can land within the same week without feeling rushed. Draft 1 opens warm, the two stablecoin queries follow, the Line intel query closes — that one carries the most weight per word and benefits from the others arriving first.

Draft 1 · IVY deck approval

Ready · May 1 of 4
Approve deck for circulation · plant the flag on PredictEx + DopeMarkets · set commercial-piece framing softly

Purpose. Warm, low-effort opener. Approves the External_IVY_Deck_revised for Ashley's circulation, names the two target audiences, and asks for a 2–3 page technical follow-up artefact that sophisticated readers will want.

The deck works for warm intros — Budget Order on slide 7 and the architecture evolution on slide 18 are the right hooks. I'd lean into those when I'm circulating it. Two specific audiences I'd want to take this into: - PredictEx — natural fit if you see options-on-prediction-market-outcomes as an interesting primitive. - DopeMarkets — I'll be with the founder (Zan) in Europe this summer; organic chance to walk him through IVY. Both are prediction-market platforms rather than pure academic targets, which I think is actually more useful — real potential users and case studies, not just papers. If commercial conversations result from either, happy to talk about how I'm involved. One ask on the deck itself: if any conversation turns serious, would you have a 2–3 page technical write-up on the Budget Order + the v3 sovereign pricing layer? That's the version sophisticated readers will want before going deeper. Happy to carry the deck as-is for now and flag when supplementary material would unlock something.

Draft 3a · Bamboo (AUD) posture

Ready · May 2 of 4
Get Jake's posture on AUD currency-backed before next Bamboo conversation

Purpose. AUD currency-backed doesn't compete with NeroGold, so probably a clean partnership opportunity. This pulls Jake's read on rail / VASP fit and whether there's anything not to mention yet.

Quick one on the AUD side before I'm next in touch with the Bamboo founder. Where does Bamboo (or any AUD currency-backed stable) fit in your view — is there a natural rail / VASP relationship to be had, or are you focused on NeroGold and AUD currency-backed isn't really in your scope? If there's a fit, what does an ideal next step look like from your side — a conversation, a technical exploration, a commercial proposal? And is there anything I shouldn't mention yet (e.g. NeroGold not public, certain partnerships under NDA)? No rush — if you're still chewing, I'll keep my next conversation with him light.

Draft 3b · NZD gold-backed scope

Ready · May 3 of 4
Get NeroGold scope clarification before any intro to the NZD builder

Purpose. Same product category as NeroGold, so partner/competitor risk. Two structural questions — scope (AU vs NZ) and posture (sole issuer vs partner rail) — gate everything downstream.

Separate thread on the NZD gold-backed builder. Take your time to clarify the NeroGold direction before I take anything to him. When you're ready, two things would help me frame it: 1. NeroGold scope and structure — AU-only or NZ in scope too? You as sole issuer, or a rail that partner gold-backed stables could issue on top of? 2. Relationship posture — if the NZD builder were to come into NERO's orbit, would that be a welcome conversation for you, or not in a place to take on more gold-stable partners right now? No pressure on timing. Brinks + ABC Bullion is a meaningful piece you've just locked in; I'd rather wait for clarity than push you into a half-formed answer.

Draft 4 · Line Japan intel query (reframed)

Ready · May 4 of 4
Independent-curiosity framing · supersedes the shelved pilot-scoping draft

Purpose. Build Andrea / Silent's intelligence picture of Jake's Line relationship and rollout strategy. Framed as Ashley's independent curiosity — not pilot interest, not informed by anything from Andrea's side.

Why this framing works.
  • Asks for strategy and posture, not specifics about a pilot.
  • Closing line ("conversations happening on my side that I'll loop you in on when they're ready") is honest about the existence of other threads without revealing what they are.
  • Useful for Andrea / Silent regardless of whether they end up partnering with Jake on Line.
Curious to learn more about how you're thinking about Line as a distribution channel — independent of any specific pilot conversation. Things on my mind: 1. Rollout shape — how do you see the Line motion unfolding over the next 6–12 months? Specific mini-app deepening, broader ecosystem play, or something else? 2. Relationship granularity — is "permissionless releases" the full extent of what's possible with Line on your side today, or are there things you could do with more structured collaboration? 3. Geographic phasing — Japan first, then Taiwan/Thailand/Indonesia? Or simultaneous? 4. What you'd want from a distribution partner — content, technical integration, regulatory navigation, something else? Just trying to build a mental model. Some of this might intersect with conversations happening on my side that I'll loop you in on when they're ready.
02 — Held

The two waiting on June.

Neither of these goes out until something else resolves. Both are calendared rather than parked — there is a specific moment each becomes the right message to send.

Draft 5 · PoSIM / dMID continuation

Held · July
Becomes substantive once APAC exclusivity is decided with Andrea

Purpose. The wedge-product continuation note inside the broader APAC GTM rollout. It can't be drafted further until the conversation with Andrea in Europe shapes the answers.

Held until. APAC exclusivity conversation with Andrea (mid-late June, latest July).

What's needed first:
  • Andrea's view on APAC exclusivity framing with NERO.
  • Decision on continuation shape: co-dev, joint GTM, or tech licensing.
  • Map of Andrea's telco network — which carriers, what seniority of relationship.

Once those resolve, this becomes a substantive proposal covering APAC GTM exclusivity, Telkomsel as lighthouse, Andrea's secondary carrier(s), and PoSIM / dMID as the wedge product inside the broader Super App rollout.

Draft 6 · Intro 1 resurface (PlaysOut Series A)

Held · Late June
Decoupled from the collab work · personal value-trade

Purpose. Jake offered a family-office intro for PlaysOut's Series A. Timing this for late June keeps it close to actual fundraising, not premature.

Held until. Late June 2026.

Independent of the three collaboration tracks — just a personal value-trade between Ashley and Jake.
03 — Reading the queue

Three things to keep in view while sending.

Next move, if pressed: send Draft 1 first. Smallest commitment from Jake to act on, sets the rhythm for the other three, and gets the IVY circulation flag planted before any of the harder asks land.
